Hummer makes a cell phone

No word yet on how long the rugged new mobile's battery will last.

Published

General Motors is releasing a Hummer-branded phone in Europe. It’s hard not to make jokes about battery life or whether you’ll need to buy carbon offsets to use the thing.

Basically it looks like a standard slider phone outfitted either in jungle camo, emergency yellow, or industrial steel. Other specs for the ridiculous device: 2-inch screen, 2 megapixel camera, 256 MB of memory, battery life unknown. All for around $400, or a half-day’s Hummer gas money.
