A question to ponder as the weekend begins: At least 10 Republican senators have hinted, intimated or outright declared that Alberto Gonzales ought to resign. How many of them will put their money where their mouths are when the Senate moves toward a no-confidence vote on the attorney general Monday? "If all senators who have actually lost confidence in Attorney General Gonzales voted their conscience," Sen. Chuck Schumer said today, "this vote would be unanimous."
A no-confidence game
Will Republicans who've lost faith in Alberto Gonzales vote that way in the Senate?
