How about a presidential approval rating bomb?

In 1994, Air Force officials sought funding to develop a weapon that would turn enemy soldiers gay.

From the "No, This Wasn't in the Onion" Department comes word that the Air Force's Wright Laboratory requested $7.5 million in 1994 for the development of a "gay bomb," a weapon that would somehow turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals, who wouldn't fight because they'd be so "irresistibly attractive to one another."

The Pentagon says the idea never went anywhere and that it isn't working on anything like it now.
