While the conditions at Guantánamo have been widely publicized, not all of our terror suspects end up there. The Frontline/World special "Extraordinary Rendition" (9 p.m. EST on PBS, check listings) investigates our country's practice of sending terror suspects to other countries, where they're allegedly interrogated and tortured for months without due process. While investigating this shadowy subject, reporter Stephen Grey also discovered a covert CIA prison system and so-called black sites where torture allegedly took place. In addition to digging through seemingly endless of layers of mystery and deceit, Grey's report suggests that our inhumane policies not only are messy and damaging but perpetuate the problem, sowing seeds of vengeance among radical Islamic groups around the world.
