Yes, and George W. Bush never looks at polls, either

Edwards says he spends "not a nanosecond" listening to the "sniping" between Obama and Clinton.

As he campaigned in Iowa Tuesday, John Edwards was asked for his thoughts on the nasty back-and-forth between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on the subject of foreign-policy experience.

His response: "Can I honestly tell you . . . I spend not a nanosecond listening to what each of them are saying sniping toward each other, so I have no idea what you're talking about."

We don't know what time it was when Edwards made those remarks, which means that we don't know if it was just before or just after his campaign put out a statement in which it said Clinton's foreign-policy attack on Obama fit the VERY definition of "mudslinging." "Now we know WHAT Sen. Clinton meant when she talked about 'throwing mud' in the last debate," Edwards communication director Chris Kofinis said in the statement. "Like so many other things, when it comes to mud, Hillary Clinton says one thing and throws another."
