Prime Pick

If you and your family don't want to brave the post-turkey crowds at the movie theater, you might consider lolling about in that semicomatose state in front of "The Incredibles" (8 p.m. EST on NBC), Brad Bird's Oscar-winning animated action thriller. Featuring voices by Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson and Sarah Vowell, who's at her whiny best as timid teenager Violet Parr, "The Incredibles" features visually appealing animation, a clever story and lots of witty lines. What more could you ask for from a family movie? It might even keep you awake long enough that you can justify a second slice of pumpkin pie.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" airs at 9 a.m. EST today on CBS and NBC, followed by the "National Dog Show" (noon EST on NBC). The big college football game tonight is USC at Arizona State (8 p.m. EST on ESPN). Those with a taste for something a little fluffier and girlier might enjoy "Legally Blonde: The Musical" (8 p.m. EST on MTV), or tonight's episode of "Grey's Anatomy" (9 p.m. EST on ABC), in which Ava returns (again!) to plague poor, stupid Alex. Afterward, sappy small-town drama "October Road" returns for a second season (10 p.m. EST on ABC).
