Let's just admit it: There's an enormous divide between people who have children and people who don't. And while we'd never recommend the yuppies-making-babies sitcom "Notes From the Underbelly" (second season premieres at 9:30 p.m. EST on ABC) to anyone who doesn't have kids, the enormous procreational divide is one of the many relatable subjects that this comedy digs into with its sharp, merciless claws. If you're ever going to laugh at jokes about breast pumps and professional baby swaddlers -- and we're not saying you are -- then you'll probably do it while you're watching this show. Rachel Harris in particular is hilarious as pregnant Lauren's (Jennifer Westfeldt's) career-focused single friend, Cooper, who's perpetually grossed out by babies, families and, well, pretty much everything. For those of you who have a lot in common with Cooper, instead we'll recommend the first two half-hour episodes of Sundance's comical four-part documentary "Nimrod Nation" (9 p.m. EST), which chronicles the life and times of the seriously odd residents of Watersmeet, Mich.

Also…

PBS's "America at a Crossroads" series continues with "Homegrown: Islam in Prison," which explores the popularity of radical Islam in U.S. prisons, followed by "Campus Battleground," a look at how contentious Middle East issues play out on college campuses (9 p.m. EST on PBS, check listings). NBC's "Heroes" airs at 9 p.m. EST, but amateur chefs anxious about their upcoming parties should tune in for the Food Network's "All-Star Holiday Spirit" (9 p.m. EST), in which FN hosts share their best holiday party dishes.
