Thursday: "Kathy Griffin: Straight to Hell" is actually, um, pretty funny. Plus: What did you think of Wednesday's "CNN/YouTube Republican Debate"?

Kathy Griffin's stand-up routine is sort of like sitting around with the funny, drunk girl at a party who has met a handful of celebrities and couldn't stand any of them. In tonight's one-hour special "Kathy Griffin: Straight to Hell" (9 p.m. EST on Bravo), even Griffin admits that her act doesn't really include punch lines. "One thing I can't do to save my life is I can't write a one-liner. You know, like, I tell these stories and stuff, but I can't do da-dum-dum-chh joke, right?" So why do we watch her again? The answer comes about 10 minutes into her special: "I ran into Paris Hilton. Look, this may surprise you, but believe it or not I actually know her a little bit, like I've met her a few times, and I did a photo shoot with her one time, and based on that, I'm here to tell you that she is actually, um, retarded."

Also…

Edie Falco continues her guest role on "30 Rock" as a liberal congresswoman who wins Jack's heart (8:30 p.m. EST on NBC). Robert Duvall gives an Oscar-winning performance as a country singer in "Tender Mercies" (8 p.m. EST on Flix). And in tonight's finale of "Iconoclasts" former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright spends some quality time with Ashley Judd (10 p.m. EST on Sundance).
