It's not much of a surprise to anyone, but with the polls in New Hampshire just closing, CNN is projecting that John Edwards will finish third among Democrats. The bigger question is who finishes first -- Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton -- and by how much, and CNN isn't opining on that one yet.

With 10 percent of the precincts now reporting, Clinton leads Obama 39 percent to 36 percent. On the Republican side, John McCain leads Mitt Romney 37 percent to 28 percent.
