Wednesday: Catch up on a classic, the 1953 gem "From Here to Eternity." Plus: What did you think of Wednesday's "Reno 911"?

Prime Pick

Sure, you could tune in for the rubbernecking of "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew" (10 p.m. EST on VH1) or the egocentric bickering of "Celebrity Apprentice" (9 p.m. EST on NBC), but why not take advantage of the lull in decent TV programming to catch up with some classic movies you've never seen before, like the 1953 Oscar-winning gem "From Here to Eternity" (10 p.m. EST on TCM)? You may have seen Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr rolling around on the beach together in the most memorable scene from this film, but that romantic encounter doesn't quite do justice to this seedy tale of an Army base before the Pearl Harbor attack. Infidelity, prostitution, intimidation, drunken outbursts, violence ... This film has it all, and its scenes will stay locked in your mind far longer than, say, "Celebrity Podiatrist."

Also…

A new episode of "Ugly Betty" airs at 8 p.m. EST on ABC, but PBS lovers will want to tune in for the fixer-upper pleasures of This Old House Hour" (8 p.m. EST on PBS, check listings), followed by the second of three episodes of "Antiques Roadshow" set in Baltimore (9 p.m. EST on PBS, check listings). Everyone's favorite motorcycle specialists are back when "American Chopper" returns for a fifth season (premieres at 9 p.m. EST on TLC), while charmingly odd documentary "The Puffy Chair" airs at 9 p.m. EST on Sundance. On A&E's "First 48," which is sort of like a real-life version of "Law & Order," Miami detectives attempt to solve a pair of mysterious murders (10 p.m. EST).
