The three-hour special "Inside the Vietnam War" (8 p.m. EST on National Geographic) certainly isn't the most artful look at our involvement in Vietnam. Its rapid cuts between battle footage and interviews will make you long for the patient, thoughtful storytelling of Ken Burns. Despite these flaws, the battlefield footage is so exhaustive, so vibrant and at times so disturbing that it's hard to believe there were that many cameras so close to the action. Featuring more than 50 first-person interviews with Vietnam vets, "Inside the Vietnam War" offers a thorough retelling of the war's escalation through the voices of those who endured it.

The season's final new episode of "Prison Break" airs at 8 p.m. EST on Fox, while "Gone With the Wind" airs at 8 p.m. EST on TCM. The search for a trio of strip-tastic singing sirens begins on "Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious" (premieres at 9 p.m. EST on the CW), Lewis Black hosts "History of the Joke" (9 p.m. EST on History) and Christine battles her parental gossiping on "The New Adventures of Old Christine" (9:30 p.m. EST on CBS).
