If you're not addicted to HBO's mesmerizing therapy drama "In Treatment" (9:30 p.m. EST weeknights) by now, it may be a little too late to catch up. Even if you can't tell what the hell is going on, though, this half-hour drama is so unique that it's worth a look. On Monday through Thursday, we sit in with different clients of therapist Paul Westin (played by Gabriel Byrne), while on Fridays, Westin visits his therapist (played by Dianne Wiest). Each character's story, including Westin's, takes unexpected and provocative turns along the way, but our favorite night has to be Monday, when crazy/smart/scary client Laura comes to torture and tease poor Westin with her confessions of love for him, followed by chiding, followed by sexy talk. She's the aging male therapist's fantasy/nightmare, and she's got Westin's number. But will she love him forever and ever or ruin him before the first season's final episodes next week?

In the special report "The Royal Family" (8 p.m. EST on ABC), Barbara Walters goes behind the scenes with the British royal family for a year. The finale of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" airs tonight at 8 p.m. EST on Fox. In "My Brilliant Career" (10 p.m. EST on IFC) an independent female novelist finds her way in Australia; it's sort of like the 1979 version of "Living Out Loud." Following the same theme, "The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom" (10 p.m. EST on TLC) follows stay-at-home moms as they try their hand at their dream jobs.
