Tuesday: Will "The Real Housewives of New York City" be fascinatingly awful? Plus: What did you think of "In Treatment" on Monday?

Bravo / Jay Sullivan

As cheesily delightful as "The Real Housewives of Orange County" can be, something tells us that "The Real Housewives of New York City" (premieres at 11 p.m. EST on Bravo) will be even more awful but fascinating. After all, bad boob jobs and McMansions are good for a few chuckles, but nothing quite brings out our scorn like tacky rich people who fancy themselves aristocrats. The press release for the show promises that the housewives in question fill their time with "charity fund-raising galas, the social whirl of the Hamptons, and interviews for elite private schools." Yes, these women will be easy to loathe in earnest -- which is the whole point, of course.

Also…

The Sundance favorite that made Terrence Howard a star, "Hustle & Flow," airs at 8 p.m. EST on BET, then "The Universe" airs at 9 p.m. EST on History. Patti Stanger wraps up her reign of "Yuck!" tonight with the finale of "Millionaire Matchmaker" (10 p.m. EST on Bravo). And "Deliver Me," which follows the lives of three OB-GYNs, premieres at 10 p.m. EST on Discovery Health.
