The Associated Press discovers that our drinking water is loaded with drugs. Ho hum

The shocking revelation that trace amounts of a vast array of pharmaceutical drugs are present in the drinking water supplies of millions of Americans is getting enormous play in the blogosphere this Monday morning

I honestly don't know why. It's not like it's news or anything. Salon had this story six years ago. (Disclaimer: I edited it.) And from what I can tell from comparing the two articles, not much has changed in the intervening years. But our story was better written.
