We've been big fans of "Survivor" since Richard Hatch pulled off his "Lord of the Flies"-style win during the first season, but the best episode of the year, better than the finale even, is always the one where the two teams merge. On tonight's "Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites" (8 p.m. EDT on CBS), we'll see whether the favorites, led by powerhouses Ozzy and James the Gravedigger, manage to keep themselves in a strong position. Best of all, though, will be the moment when Dan (not so smart) shows Eliza (smarty-pants) the "immunity idol" that he found. Eliza: "That can't be the immunity idol!" Dan: "Why not?" Eliza: "Because it's just a stick!"

Also…

"Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures" concludes with a trip to the Amazon (8 p.m. EDT on PBS, check listings). Then, "Top Chef" airs at 10 p.m. on Bravo, while the finale of "High School Reunion" airs at 10 p.m. on TV Land. And fittingly enough, on tonight's episode of "Lewis Black's Root of All Evil," Black and his comic minions compare the relative evils of "American Idol" to high school (10:30 p.m. on Comedy Central).
