Clinton to appear on "The O'Reilly Factor"

Fox News has itself become a campaign issue for some Democrats, but now both Democratic candidates will have given high-profile interviews to the network in one week.

On Wednesday night, Hillary Clinton will appear in a pretaped interview on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor." This is bound to cause some controversy within the Democratic electorate, as some leading Democratic bloggers and activists have opposed the presence on Fox of any of the Democratic presidential candidates, and succeeded in tanking a Democratic presidential debate that was supposed to be hosted by the network.

Despite that opposition, Clinton isn't alone in appearing on Fox -- Barack Obama gave an interview to "Fox News Sunday," ending an "Obama Watch" the show kept up to mark the time since he'd reportedly pledged to appear.

Talking Points Memo's Greg Sargent asked an unnamed senior advisor to Clinton whether she'd be taking on host Bill O'Reilly; the unnamed advisor responded, "That's not the plan."
