Wednesday: The final three duke it out on "American Idol." Plus: What did you think of "Storm Over Everest" on Tuesday?

While the finale of "American Idol" is always bloated and overhyped (this season's two-night finale airs May 20 and 21), tonight's episode, in which the three finalists are cut down to two (9 p.m. EDT on Fox) may provide just the right mix of high stakes and low expectations. Who will be cut, one of the two Davids or Syesha? America decides, and then America watches and cringes at what terrible taste America has.

Also…

A long, long time ago, we'd be popping popcorn for tonight's season finale of "America's Next Top Model" (8 p.m. EDT on the CW), but tonight, we might just take in Leo DiCaprio in "Blood Diamond" (7:30 p.m. on Cinemax) instead; then there are back-to-back repeats of "TransGeneration" (9 p.m. on Sundance) and what's sure to be another combative episode of "Top Chef" (10 p.m. on Bravo).
