"I think if Senator Obama gets the number, I think Hillary Clinton will congratulate him and call him the nominee." -- Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe, appearing on the "Today" show Tuesday morning.

As I've mentioned here before, Barack Obama's campaign is trying very hard to get to the number McAuliffe's referring to here -- the "magic number" of delegates needed to capture the Democratic nomination, now 2,118 -- by tonight.
