I'm leaving for Denver with a crew from Salon -- editors, staff writers plus Glenn Greenwald, Tom Schaller and Joe Conason. Some of us are staying in a house near the Pepsi Center. We'll bring you scenes from Real World: Denver, plus full coverage of all the convention fun, all next week.

If you want to weigh in on the convention -- whether you're with us in Denver, or watching it on television or the Web -- please join us on Open Salon. The quality of work there continues to be extraordinary. And even though it has almost nothing to do with the convention, I had to share this great cartoon by Bob Eckstein, a funny commentary on what made the cover during Open's first few weeks open.
