New Obama ad attacks McCain on economy

The spot uses Sam Cooke's "Wonderful World" to hit McCain for admitting that "economics is not something I've understood as well as I should."

Finally, the thing we've all been waiting for -- a campaign ad with a catchy jingle not produced by will.i.am. The Obama campaign's latest anti-McCain spot is a really clever one.

The spot adapts the lyrics of Sam Cooke's "Wonderful World" -- "Don't know much about history/ Don't know much biology/ Don't know much about a science book," etc. -- to poke fun at John McCain and his admission that "economics is not something I've understood as well as I should." Continuing a theme, the ad also makes good use of some images linking McCain to President Bush.
