September's campaign fundraising smashes all previous records to smithereens.

Smashing all previous records for presidential campaign fundraising, Barack Obama raised $150 million in September.

His previous high had been a paltry $66 million in August. According to the Wall Street Journal the campaign has raised more than $600 million in total.

As John McCain complained during last Wednesday's debate, it was impossible to sit through a televised pro football game last weekend without being bludgeoned by nationally broadcast Obama ads. Expect more of the same today.
