McCain spokesman Goldfarb embarrassed on CNN

The McCain campaign's blogger, challenged to provide evidence for his claim that Barack Obama is friendly with anti-Semites, had to stay silent.

This video's been up on a bunch of other blogs already, but it's worth posting because it's just nice to see McCain spokesman and blogger Michael Goldfarb getting his just deserts.

As Jonathan Martin notes, we probably do know the identity of the second person Goldfarb's referring to in the clip -- Barack Obama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. But as Martin said, Goldfarb's "hands are tied by the candidate;" John McCain has prohibited his staffers from discussing Wright. Still, what Goldarb did here was clearly a violation of the spirit of that policy. He laid this particular trap for himself.
