Right now, this looks like the quote of the night. At his blog for the Atlantic, Marc Ambinder says he has talked to an unnamed "very senior McCain aide" who told him, "At this point, we need a miracle."
Colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia are still out there, though, so there is a possibility that John McCain could still pull this off.
