Polls close in three more states

But so far, we don't know who won North Carolina, Ohio or West Virginia -- two of those might well be key to victory.

As of 7:30 p.m. EST, polls in three more states -- North Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia -- have closed. So far, though, we don't have any calls.

It seems like the various networks are going to be very, very careful about projecting winners in any battleground states. Based on the exit poll numbers I've seen so far, it's fairly clear that they're not going to rely on those numbers  and are going to make sure they have a healthy number of actual votes in first.
