Obama wins Virginia

In yet another sign that the state is turning blue, its 13 Electoral College votes have apparently gone to Barack Obama.

It took a while for the call to come in, but Barack Obama has reportedly won Virginia and its 13 Electoral College votes. The state hadn't gone for a Democratic presidential candidate since 1964.

This win is just one more signal that the state is trending blue. With Mark Warner winning tonight, both of Virginia's Senate seats are held by Democrats; so is the state House.
