The news broke today that the Justice Department is charging Jeffrey Rosato, a high-level aide to California Sen. Barbara Boxer, with possession and distribution of child pornography. When Boxer's office was informed on Friday, Rosato was immediately fired. Said Boxer spokeswoman Natalie Ravitz:

On Friday, the Justice Department informed our office of criminal charges made against a Senate employee. Sen. Boxer has zero tolerance for crimes against children, and the employee was immediately terminated. Our office is cooperating fully with the Department of Justice in this matter.

Maybe Michele Bachmann can find someone to look into this for us.
