Al Franken takes lead

The putative 59th Democratic senator pulls ahead in Minnesota senate race.

Al Franken now leads in Minnesota.

So says the Washington Independent: "It now appears that unless Coleman can win a major lawsuit to disqualify a high number of Franken ballots, Al Franken will be the next U.S. senator from Minnesota."
