Don't count Caroline Kennedy out. New York Gov. David Paterson has now interviewed 15 contenders for Hillary Clinton's Senate seat, including Kennedy, and he tells the New York Daily News "she didn't eliminate herself."

"I was impressed with the effort that she seems to be making," Paterson said. "[She's] trying to learn the issues, trying to meet the people, trying to move around...

"She seemed to be, I thought, rather prepared. What I liked about her is when something seemed to be a little beyond her, she seemed to address it right away. She didn't dance like a lot of people will. ... That indicates to me that it's someone you could work with."
