CNN reports that two U.S. missiles were fired into Pakistan, one into the North Waziristan area and another into South Waziristan. Preliminary reports indicate that 17 were killed.

The news was reported right as Obama press secretary Robert Gibb was starting his second press conference, at 1 p.m. today. He was asked about it but withheld comment.
