Blago faces his toughest interviewer yet

Rod Blagojevich may have been removed from office just last week, but "Late Show" host David Letterman didn't show any mercy.

Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich could certainly have chosen a better venue for his latest interview than the "Late Show." Not that David Letterman isn't a good interviewer -- no, the real drawback for Blagojevich was that Letterman was too good. Plus, there was a double whammy; even as Letterman kept a straight face through his beating of the disgraced politician, his audience broke into laughter at Blagojevich's declarations of his own innocence.

Video of the interview is below, and really has to be seen to be fully apppreciated. But I think my favorite quote from it is something Letterman said about the round of interviews Blagojevich did last week: "The more you talked, and the more you repeated your innocence, the more I said to myself, 'Oh, this guy is guilty.'"
