The $3.6 trillion budget proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats passed the House easily Thursday night. The Senate is likely to follow.

The vote went largely along party lines -- following a pattern established with the stimulus, no Republicans voted in favor of the bill. 20 Democrats crossed the aisle and voted against the budget.
