I'm debating Liz Cheney on CNN
About whether closing Guant
June 10, 2009 2:10AM (UTC)
I'll be debating Liz Cheney tonight, on CNN's "Campbell Brown," on the question of whether closing Guantánamo threatens national security. Guess which side I'm on.
Actually, I think I have the easy job. If closing Gitmo is a mistake, blame the Bush-Cheney administration, because President Bush promised to close it in 2006. It's a non-issue.
The debate will come around the show's midpoint, but tune in at 5 p.m. PDT/8 p.m. EDT so you don't miss it. I'll blog about it later.
