Winston Churchill, WWII leader's grandson, dies

The former member of parliament died in his home Tuesday morning

Winston Churchill, a former member of Parliament and grandson of Britain's wartime leader, has died. He was 69.

Commander John Muxworthy says Churchill died Tuesday morning at his home in London. The politician had been diagnosed with cancer two years ago.

Churchill was a member of the House of Commons from 1970 to 1997. Earlier he had been a foreign correspondent for The Times, The Daily Telegraph and other publications.
