Documents: Phoebe Prince sought help from school

Documents show the Massachusetts girl who committed suicide after what prosecutors call relentless bullying sought help from a school administrator a week before her death.

The documents released this week also show 15-year-old Phoebe Prince endured a day of taunts and verbal abuse at South Hadley High School before going home and hanging herself on Jan. 14.

The documents were filed in connection with criminal charges brought against six other students. They show the teen feared being beaten up and sought help from the school official.

The school's principal did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

Gov. Deval (deh-VAHL') Patrick told WTKK Radio on Friday that "adults did not seem to have acted like adults" in the case. He did not distinguish between school administrators and the parents of the teens charged.
