  • Walter Mondale testified before the Senate Rules Committee on filibuster reform!
  • Pennsylvania's attorney general is apparently subpoenaing Twitter to tell him who is tweeting mean things about him.
  • This picture pretty much sums up Bloomberg's New York.
  • Is Rand Paul named after Ayn Rand? No, he says. But come on, no one goes by "Rand."
  • President Obama met with Jewish members of Congress so that Joe Lieberman could yell at him about loving Iran for a while. The meeting went well, everyone claims. Soon, I'm sure, he'll meet with Muslim members. All one of them.
  • Harry Reid called a cloture vote on the financial bill. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe voted to stop debate. Maria Cantwell and Russ Feingold voted to continue debate. (As did Scott Brown, who Reid seemed to think was going to support him on this one.) The motion failed. Which means more amendments for everyone!
