Alanis Morissette got married to singer and rapper Souleye (Mario Treadway) in a quiet ceremony at their Los Angeles home, managing to circumvent the tabloids for two whole weeks.
A source told People magazine the couple got married on May 22, a week before Morissette’s 36th birthday. She later confirmed the news on her twitter page. This is the first marriage for both of them. They have been dating since 2009.
Entertainment magazines don't seem to know much about Morissette's new spouse (which may be why the search term at the top of the lists on Google Trends is "souleye" and not "alanis married," or something of the sort), but TIME says the rapper has performed at SXSW and Coachella, and shows a video of his performance at Burning Man in 2009.
