Gingrich defines Mosque Exclusion Zone for New York

Gingrich clarifies we should only adopt Saudi-style restrictions in a certain area of Manhattan

Newt Gingrich has now clarified his previous argument that America should block the Muslim community center ("Ground Zero Mosque") in lower Manhattan because Saudi Arabia oppresses its people, too.

He argued on Fox Monday night that it would be OK with him if a mosque were built near "Central Park" or "Columbia University" (no one can say he doesn't know New York!), just not in the neighborhood near ground zero where the people behind the new project have in fact had a mosque for many years.
