If you're not planning any kind of vacation this summer, you might want to indulge in some extravagant escapism with these three luscious videos from a 44-day, 38,000-mile journey around the world. (Or maybe you just want to avert your eyes!)

Over the course of the three short films, you'll see Andrew Lees on a wide variety of international adventures -- taking pasta-making lessons, exploring subways and beaches, and tasting local delicacies such as (what appear to be) fried insects.

The videos, directed by Rick Mereki and produced by Tim White, were popular on reddit this morning -- but not all commenters were equally impressed; some complained the actor simply seemed "rich" and "pretentious." What do you think? Are these videos beautiful and harmless -- or just a way to brag about the expensive "trip of a lifetime"? Let us know below.
