LOS ANGELES (AP) — Firefighters battled four suspected arson fires Monday morning at carports in the Los Angeles area.
Department spokesman Capt. Jaime Moore tells The Los Angeles Times ( ) that the blazes are in the Hollywood Hills and Laurel Canyon areas.
He says they broke out shortly after 1:30 a.m. and reports of the fires all came out within minutes of each other.
Arson investigators are at each site.
No injuries had been reported and it was still unknown if the fires were connected to a spate of arsons in the Hollywood area.
