JUICED UP: Orange juice futures jumped nearly 3 percent after a cold snap caused limited damage to Florida's crop. Analysts expect the rally to be short-lived because warmer weather is in the forecast.
METALS MIX: Most metals prices fell as concerns resurfaced about Europe's banking sector and investors looked ahead to the U.S. government's employment report Friday. Gold was the exception, ending up $12.20 at $1,612.70 an ounce.
ENERGY GAINS: Oil was little changed following a 4 percent increase in price from the start of the year.
