Stuck NJ River Bridge Fixed, Train Service Resumes

SECAUCUS, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey river bridge that opened to allow marine traffic to pass and got stuck in that position has been fixed. New York train service that was suspended has resumed.

NJ Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. says the Portal Bridge became stuck in the open position Wednesday night. He says it was fixed within hours, shortly before midnight.
