ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Police say a homeless man was found slain near a fast-food restaurant in Anaheim and one person has been detained in connection with the death.

Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn says the man was found dead at about 9 p.m. Friday. He would not say what type of weapon was used and told the Los Angeles Times while there have been detentions, no one had been identified as a suspect. The victim's name was not immediately released.

The death follows reports of the earlier stabbing deaths of three homeless men in north Orange County since Dec. 21. Police suspect all three were victims of a serial killer. It was not known if the latest death was connected to the other killings.
