January 14, 2012 11:00AM (UTC)
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — A homeless man was found stabbed to death in Anaheim Friday night and a possible suspect was detained, police said.
The man was found dead at La Palma and Imperial Highway, Anaheim police sergeant Bob Dunn said. At least one person was detained, Dunn said, but he wouldn't elaborate.
The death follows reports of the earlier stabbing deaths of three homeless men in north Orange County since Dec. 21. Police suspect all three were victims of a serial killer.
Police and advocates have been urging those living on the streets to head inside or buddy up in the wake of the killings.
