PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) — A Haitian judge says he plans to scold Jean-Claude Duvalier in court for violating terms of his house arrest by venturing outside the capital.

Judge Carves Jean said Thursday that he will order the arrest of "Baby Doc" if he's late to a hearing slated for tomorrow.

Duvalier made an unexpected return to Haiti a year ago and he faces charges that include embezzlement, torture and murder from his 15-year rule.

The former dictator was placed under house arrest after his return but has traveled outside Port-au-Prince in recent weeks. He delivered a commencement speech last month and has been spotted lounging on the beach.

He attended a memorial service last week that marked the two-year anniversary of the devastating earthquake.
