MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — A 28-year-old man has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the shootings of his girlfriend and her parents during an argument at their home in Memphis.

Police say Sedrick Clayton shot 23-year-old Pashea Fisher, and her parents, 56-year-old Arithio Fisher and 46-year-old Patricia Fisher, in a bedroom of the family's home in south Memphis early Thursday.

Clayton left in his girlfriend's SUV with their 4-year-old daughter and turned himself in later hours at a police station.

The girl was with him and not hurt. She was turned over to child welfare authorities, and is now with a relative.

Clayton was charged Friday and has his first court appearance Monday. Online court records do not indicate if he has a lawyer, and there is no published telephone listing for a Sedrick Clayton in Memphis.
