ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Four young victims of a house fire that engulfed an upstate New York home early Saturday have been identified as siblings, ranging in age from 6 to 14 years old.

The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle ( ) reports that fire officials identified the victims Monday as 14-year-old Gage Reavey, 13-year-old Greg Kugler, 12-year-old Kandee Kugler and 6-year-old Kaiden Kugler.

Their 30-year-old mother, Bobbie Kugler, and her 2-year-old son, Tyron Jackson, were rescued from the first floor of the home. Firefighters were on the scene quickly but say the blaze spread through the two-story wood-framed building with such speed they were unable to get to people trapped on the upper floor.

A family friend and two teens escaped by jumping from second-floor windows.

The cause is under investigation.
