BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) — Antique cars, rare musical instruments and a massive carousel have been auctioned off by a one-of-a-kind museum in Florida.

A tractor was the final item sold Saturday at the Milhous Collection in Boca Raton, closing out two days of bidding on hundreds of items.

Its price of $11,000 was modest compared with some of the biggest sellers. One of the cars sold for more than $3 million.

A final tally of the sales was not immediately released, but the auction houses were hoping for about $40 million.

The items are contained in a 39,000-square-foot private museum built by two brothers, Bob and Paul Milhous, who decided to liquidate their collection after spending a lifetime traveling the world finding them.
