COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Jurors in Colorado Springs have convicted a woman accused in the death of a tow truck driver who was dragged by her vehicle.

Jurors convicted Detra Farries on Friday of charges including vehicular homicide, manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.

Prosecutors say that on Feb. 23, 2011, Farries drove off as Allen Lew Rose was preparing to tow her SUV, and he died after getting caught in a cable he had attached to her vehicle.

Farries' attorneys had argued Farries didn't realize Rose was being dragged.
