DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) — Hundreds of Bangladeshi journalists have held a one-hour work stoppage to demand justice for colleagues who were killed earlier this month.

Scores of journalists put down their pens and cameras Monday in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka. Similar protests took place across the country.

Police say they are making progress in the deaths of Sagar Sarwar and his wife, Meherun Runi. But no suspects have been arrested and no evidence has been disclosed.

The two were stabbed to death on Feb. 11 at their apartment in Dhaka. Sarwar was news editor of the private TV station Massranga and Runi was a reporter at another station, ATN Bangla.

The Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists says the protests will continue until the killers are arrested.
