Judge Sentences Man, Woman In Courthouse Bombing

SAN DIEGO (AP) — A federal judge has sentenced a man and woman for the 2008 bombing of a San Diego courthouse.

Eric Robinson was sentenced to 11 years Friday and Ella Louise Sanders to 10 years in federal prison for their role in the backpack bombing incident that shattered glass doors at the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Courthouse.

Robinson, Sanders and Rachelle Lynette Carlock pleaded guilty for their participation. A jury convicted Donny Love Sr. of being the mastermind behind the incident.

Prosecutors say Love instructed Carlock and Sanders to purchase bomb-making materials, and Robinson drove from Love's home with the backpack of three pipe bombs. Carlock then detonated them at the courthouse. Carlock was sentenced in November to 10 years.

Love will be sentenced April 26.
